This site provides a tutorial designed to help familiarize educators with various Internet tools. In the tutorial, there are 23 “Things” to complete, with each Thing showing you one more web tool. Each week of the tutorial begins with a brief explanation of a new web 2.0 topic, followed by Discovery Exercises. These exercises give you the background you need to understand the tools you’re learning about. After the Discovery Exercises, you’ll find an activity to complete. Topics and tools addressed in the tutorial include blogs, Flickr, RSS feeds, Del.icio.s, Creative Commons, wikis, spreadsheets, YouTube, podcasts, and eBooks. As you learn about these tools, there are many places for you to explore, experiment with, and think about creative ways to use 2.0 tools in your classroom.
