Learning at the British Library
Learning at the British Library is a section of the British Library’s website and contains interactive learning exhibits targeted at students with accompanying material for teachers. While these educational materials are aligned with the British curriculum, they can be extremely useful for adaptation into the American classroom due to their topics, interactivity, and encouragement of higher level thinking skills. As with many website “front pages,” the resources featured change often. But at the time this site was reviewed, it contained a workshop about the Silk Road, creative research into black dance history, an exploration of different cultures through their ideas about the body (soul, chakras, etc.), and an idea storage zone.
