The Adventures of Amelia the Pigeon website features an interactive story aimed at children in the K-4 that includes audio, video, and aerial and satellite imagery. Each of the five chapters may be either downloaded or accessed online.A Teacher’s Guide accompanies this story, which includes lesson plans and activities for K-2 and 3-4 for each chapter. Concepts include perspective, story prediction, identifying shapes, colors, and patterns, grids, sequence, and habitat identification.The Adventures of Amelia the Pigeon is one of two stories located on the Imagers website, which is maintained by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center’s Laboratory for Terrestrial Physics.
