This website is a companion to the exhibition at the New York Historical Society. It includes a Hamilton Log which provides important milestones as well as his writings … articles, pamphlets, letters, and much more.
The timeline area chronicles Alexander Hamilton’s life from his Caribbean origins, through his service as a soldier and patriot, to his years in public office, and finally the duel with Aaron Burr which ended his life.
The site includes an Gallery of Hamilton’s Peers. Each person is depicted with a portrait from the New York Historical Society and a short description of how they were a part of Hamilton’s life.
