PBS presents a companion site to the television series Africa. From its diverse eco-systems to its kaleidoscope of cultures, Africa offers a wealth of valuable learning opportunities. Africa for Kids includes:

  • A photo essay by kids called My World from four schools in Africa to show what their life is like.
  • Thumb Piano Tunes where kids can listen to songs, play the piano, and even record their own music.
  • A Make a Mask activity with instructions and templates to make a rabbit, bird, antelope, or hunter mask. Also watch a video of the Dogon dance.
  • An interactive Swahili Folktale.
