Teenreads offers reviews, author information and thematic features in a cool, techno design. Selections include both young adult titles and adult titles appropriate for young adult reading. Author pages are much more in-depth, many offering extensive author interviews and links to more information about the author and their latest works. Many of the reviews include excerpts from the book, and some reviews are actually written by teens. Subscribing to the Newsletter will provide a reminder to check back in for more recommendations.
In addition to selecting an interesting read, teens are encouraged to branch out and create book clubs. The site provides a guide complete with directions to create a group and suggested titles with discussion questions.
