Center for Documentary Studies
This resource includes photos, videos, and audio collections available for study, incorporated in exhibitions, and used as the basis for seminars and workshops.
The Center provides educational opportunities through Podcasts, Workshops, Institutes, Exhibitions, and Projects.
The On-Line Multimedia Gallery includes photographs, slide exhibitions, and audio segments related to exhibitions that have been on display at the Center or are purely web-based. The topics range from literacy through photography to racial tensions and jazz in New York City to weather and geography.
Events at the Center include audio and video workshops as well as access to their Literacy through Photography project. Ongoing projects at the center include the above referenced Literacy project as well as the Neighborhoods Project, Regarding Race, and Youth Document Durham.
