Odyssey of the Mind challenges teams of seven kids to work together all through the winter developing eight-minute solutions to demanding, complex, long-term problems and preparing them to solve some unknown “spontaneous” problem as a team on tournament day. Pushing them to find the most creative answers possible, the program encourages risk-taking within a strong fabric of support and fellowship, providing an exhilarating competition for creative thinking and problem solving.
