The Annenberg Channel is a free satellite channel that airs an extraordinary range of teacher professional development and instructional programs funded by Annenberg Media. From K-12 teacher professional development through instructional programming in subjects across the curriculum, Annenberg/CPB professional development video programs, with their coordinated print materials and Web sites, help teachers increase their expertise and develop their craft.
Don’t miss the Student area that features interactives and content activities to support the video content from select series. Exhibit are attractive and engaging; topics include How a Hollywood movie is made, Volcanos and Amusement Park Physics — all sure to be hits with the students. Additional areas include Math and Science Activities for Middle Schoolers and the Teacher’s Lab, designed to deepen teachers’ understanding of science concepts.
Videos may be watched free via the internet using Windows Media Player or ordered in VHS or DVD format. This site also features schedules of broadcast programming.
