Jack Roosevelt Robinson: Civil Rights Advocate is an instructional plan focused on the civil rights advocacy activities of Jackie Robinson after he retired from his 10-year baseball career. It is intended to provide a teaching resource related to civil rights events and issues, character education, and effective citizenship skills. Documents include correspondence with President Dwight D. Eisenhower, Vice President Richard Nixon, President John F. Kennedy, President Lyndon Johnson, The White House. Teaching activities and analysis worksheets are provided.

The purpose of the website is to facilitate the use of archival documents in the classroom. It contains links to a variety of information about the Digital Classroom, which is also searchable. Additionally, the site includes links to the National Archives and Records Administration and its other offerings.
