The Longfellow Institute, a program for teachers, has had speakers including “museum curators, archivists, and specialists in 19th-century American literature, history, art, architecture, and popular culture.” This website “grew out” of the Institute and focuses on Longfellow, his life, his works, his family, and his home.

Educators will find curricular resources created by teachers from Maine and Massachusetts who participated in an extensive program which concentrated on researching archives of literary and historical aspects of Longfellow’s work.
