This interactive website allows students to discover where over 30,000 bird, mammal, reptile, and amphibian species live. The database allows searching by place or by species and is based on the World Wildlife Fund’s 825 terrestrial ecoregions. Visitors to the site can search the database by country, US ZIP code, or city. They may also make comparisons between ecoregions and biomes. The map gallery shows diversity patterns of species. These maps are printable in PDF format.
