The science education supplements are organized by topic, such as: Cell Biology and Cancer, Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Diseases, and Using Technology to Study Cellular and Molecular Biology.

Each supplement comes with: Content Summary, Web Version, Request Printed Materials, Download Teacher’s Guide, and State Standards. Some come with the option of downloading the CD-ROM.

Each supplement has an introduction section that provides background on the selected topic and how it supplements the standard course of study. It also provides help for navigating and using the website, such as the minimum computer/technology requirements and setting Quicktime settings for the multimedia elements.
