For ten years, the Balanced Assessment in Mathematics program was provided by the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The Concord Consortium now provides these innovative tasks. The program strives to help students develop their critical thinking and mathematical skills. The site also helps teachers to know what good assessment looks like and how it can be used effectively. Each task, solution, and rubric can be downloaded in Microsoft Word format. Teachers can obtain passwords for the solutions and rubrics by ordering any of their publications. The task collection and grade level packets are available for purchase in both CD-ROM and paper form.
