In the National Atlas Map Maker, users can assemble, view, and print their own maps. Choose from hundreds of layers of geographic information to make maps. Each map layer can be displayed individually or mixed with others to tailor an individualized map. For example, a map showing America’s streams and lakes. New map layers can be added showing additional geographic information, such as state boundaries, county boundaries, roads, railroads, and towns and cities.The topics users can explore and create in the maps include:
