The Asia Society and the National Geographic Society have developed this initiative to “stimulate teaching and learning about world history, languages, cultures, and current affairs in American schools.” It strives to help students gain the knowledge they will need to know about Asia in the 21st Century.
The website has educational resources for educators to use in their classrooms. Lesson plans, online geography tools, articles, and links to valuable resources are available through free membership. Educators may also be interested in educator training, conferences, field studies, and other professional development opportunities offered.
