While trying to discover and promote the most effective roles and contributions of librarians to the Internet and vice versa, the information science faculty and students have developed a public library of and for the Internet community. Like a library, the site includes subject collections, ready reference, a reading room, special collections, children’s collections, young adult materials, and librarian-created instructional material to build skills in searching.
