By helping students consider their aptitudes and interests then discover a path to the career they choose, Futures for Kids helps students to meet the workforce development needs of our communities. This site provides free services for participating schools including an online assessment for students, allows a student to explore careers that match their unique talents, provides a career coach for students to talk to, helps educators discern their student’s interests, and involves local businesses in developing the workforce they need. Using this dynamic web-based program, business leaders meet their future employees, career counselors mentor future colleagues, educators learn more about student interests and students develop a plan suited to their interests and abilities.
