Dr. Steven Jefferies’ interest in putting together helpful links for his pre-service teachers was the beginning of this website for physical education teachers. With the help of 30 volunteer editors, the site keeps growing with links to more helpful sites.

Sections of links include adapted PE, coaching and sports, elementary PE, health, fitness, and nutrition, interdisciplinary PE, secondary PE, and Technology in PE. Teachers can discuss physical education and healthful living issues on the forum page, check out a monthly calendar of events, read book reviews, and read previous issues dating back to 1999. Educators can subscribe to a free monthly e-mailed digest of the PELINKS4U web site sections with updates of the latest physical education news.
