A subscription service providing articles three times a year covering a wide range of topics offering insight and understanding regarding the life and culture of Asia.The website also offers supplemental materials and outside resource links. Supplements include handouts to support the publication’s articles and art for the classroom (complete with images, text, and notes for teachers). Resource links with free materials include such sites as the Asia Society, the Korea Society and Asia For Educators, which features a wide range of classroom materials and faculty guides for teaching about East Asia at the K-12 and undergraduate levels. Asia For Educators also includes multimedia teaching units, primary sources, timelines, and more. Another useful link leads to AskAsia, The Asia Society’s online clearinghouse for K–12 Asian and Asian American studies. AskAsia offers access to high-quality, classroom-tested resources and cultural information, engaging games and activities, and links to relevant people, places, and institutions.
