This online resource dedicated to the arts of Asia represents the Freer and Sackler Galleries of the Smithsonian Institution and provides image galleries of Ancient Near Eastern, Islamic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, South Asia and the Himalayas, and Southeast Asian civilizations as well as American and Egyptian works of art.In addition to image galleries, the website provides information on past, current, and future exhibitions as well as online exhibitions. You can create your own exhibition by creating an e-Gallery, which allows patrons to save favorite images to a single location for return visits.
Education materials, including teacher resources, are also available through this website.
