Facing the Future is a non-profit organization devoted to the promotion of positive, solutions-based programming that is designed to help teachers bring critical thinking about global issues to their students. This organization provides curriculum resources, along with workshops and service learning opportunities. There is a cost associated with most of their resources, but some of the curriculum is available for free, and they also offer support for funding to qualifying schools. To download the free curriculum resources, you need to fill out a short information form. These free resources include activity based lessons, action projects, and visual materials such as graphs.

In addition to the free curriculum downloads, the site also offers a section of free information on Global Sustainability. This section covers topics such as conflict, economy, health, energy, population, and the rich/poor gap. For each issue you can take a 60 second tour and also read indepth information. There is a list of additional resources for learning about the issues, which includes some great websites.
