This resource has it all! A beautifully designed and easy to navigate web space that provides lesson plans by grade range with links to the related National Geography Standards. Lesson plans include a side bar providing links to related activities and lesson plans in addition to the National Geography Standards.

Activities are designed with both online, interactive elements as well as off-line, print activities. Some require the use of printed maps from the Expedition site while others incorporate other Expedition resources.

Expedition Hall is an interactive exhibition designed to recreate the feel of a museum while embracing the interactivity of the Web. Expedition Hall includes maps, architectural drawings, woodcuts, and other visualizations to impress upon participants the power of nature, evolution, the concepts of space and time, and that events in one region may very well impact distant regions.
