“Fostering environmental literacy and stewardship in citizens of all ages”, this program offers classroom projects and continuing education opportunities to teachers globally.
Projects are designed to understand environmental impacts through examples of American watersheds and rivers. A study guide examines opportunities to learn about frogs and their habitats.
Service Learning Projects offer step-by-step instructions as well as links to videos, curricula, and related equipment.
Service programs are divided into four areas: graduate level programs, institutes, and courses for K-12 educators; Internet based learning projects for K-12 classrooms; community education initiatives; and state-of-the-art educational media products and services.
