During World War II, photographers covered every aspect of the war. Visitors to this site can see images take of both theaters of the war, of civilians working for the war effort, and of the Holocaust. Pictures are listed by subject and campaign. Each image has captions and information on the photographer/artist and can be enlarged for easier viewing. Many of these images are famous such as the “We Can Do It!” poster by J. Howard Miller or the “Conference of the Big Three at Yalta”
