Confederate Broadsides Poetry Collection
http://wakespace.lib.wfu.edu/jspui/handle/10339/44
During the American Civil War, Southerners and Confederate sympathizers wrote poetry in pamphlets, newspapers, and broadsides. These poems deal with the war in some way and are typical of southern war propaganda. Most were anonymously published. Many of the broadsides in the collection are from the border state of Maryland where there were many confederate sympathizers.
