IPL TeenSpace
Like your library or media center, the Internet Public Library TeenSpace has resources to help students your age to find answers to their research questions and locate interesting things to read. Ask a question (allow 3 days to get an answer), search the collection, or browse by topic. If you have a report due there is a specially designed research guide available for you to use. If you are just looking for great websites featuring graphic novels look in the “Graphic Novel Guide” or if you are trying to avoid doing your schoolwork for just a few more minutes, check out the “Procrastinator” section. No matter what your interest (or lack thereof!) you are sure to find websites covering the topic.
The Internet Public Library began as an educational initiative designed to provide students and professionals in the library and information science (LIS) profession a place to explore and learn about the practice of librarianship in the digital age. Teenspace and KidSpace provide access to the appropriate content for students ages 8 to 18.
