Based upon genetic research and documented by ancient rock art, the centerpiece of this site is an interactive map illustrating the Peopling of the World. Factoring in climate changes and other elements governing the process, this interactive presentation tracks the movement of humans over the last 160,000 years. Accompanying text and images place the movement of mankind in context with ancient rock art around the world. Also featured on this site are accounts of studies, discoveries and explorations of anthropologists and archeologists from the early 1900s to the present. 15 minute long iLecture documentary films are available for a fee.
