This course is designed to provide registrants with a sound, fundamental understanding of the basics of science. The course is divided into eight sections and is entirely web-based.

The course is designed to inform registrants in such a way as to make a direct impact on classroom learning and curriculum development. In particular, this course strives to provide registrants with the necessary foundation to guide children in grades K-6 through scientific learning accurately while increasing their naturally inquisitive natures.

Registration for the course as a professional development/certificate program is free. The course can be taken for graduate level credit, but will then be subject to a registration fee.
