Heisenberg/Uncertainty Principle
http://www.aip.org/history/heisenberg/
This site contains biographical information on Werner Karl Heisenberg, with a focus on his uncertainty principle and other work in the field of physics, including work done during WWII in Germany. The information on both the man and the science is interesting and clearly written, but contains a great deal of discussion related to the theory and mathematics of Heisenberg’s work. As such, this site would be most helpful for a high school level class. Most of the information is presented as text, but there are many digitized photographs and even audio clips of Heisenberg talking about his work.
