The USCB Library’s BARE BONES Tutorial offers twenty short and succinct lessons about using search engines on the internet. Each lesson can be read in a few minutes and ends with a quick activity designed to provide hands-on experience with the topic of the lesson. Lessons can stand on their own, so feel free to pick and choose the ones most useful to you or your students. Since the tutorial is designed to be an introduction to searching the web, a recommended list of further sites is provided in lesson twenty, at the end of the tutorial.
