Consisting mostly of contact information, there is one teen-friendly part of the site: The Birds N Bees Text Helpline, where teens can send texts about sex, pregnancy, and other health issues and get answers back within 24 hours. In addition, Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention offers a variety of trainings for Teen Pregnancy Prevention and Teen Parenting.

  • Classes typically serve between 21 and 40 persons per session.
  • Content may be aligned with North Carolina standards for professional development and is tailored to the needs of the individual student. Offerings are based on theory, classroom strategies and subject matter content.
  • Sessions offered are a combination of seminar, lecture and processing activities with time to process the learning with other participants.
  • Follow-up activities include an optional evaluation of the professional development session, electronic follow-up, and an in person follow-up.
  • Materials are included in the cost of the workshops.
