This site was created by Jennifer Wagner, self-proclaimed “technospud”-a couch potato who spends her time at the computer instead of the television. At this site she has brought together an amazing variety of online projects that encourage the mesh of technology and education in creative and exciting ways. Projects involve a wide variety of topics, including literature, history, holidays, and math. Projects are intended to be adapted for various grade levels, usually Pre-K through 6th grade, and can be as simple or involved as teachers wish. Current projects are listed on the site, along with archives of past projects. A teacher can register to participate online in a current project, along with hundreds of other classrooms from around the country. Projects that are listed in the archives are now closed to online participation, but can still be used in individual classrooms. Projects posted on the site provide activities, standards, links, and galleries of past products (in the case of archived projects).
