At this online exhibit from the British Library, you can explore 66 texts that are held sacred by the three major world religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. These texts have been digitized and can be viewed page by page or browsed chronologically, by faith, or by theme. The site also includes video clips, podcasts, and an interactive map showing where the books were produced. The other interactives focus on stories from the sacred texts and understanding the sacred texts. Teacher’s notes and student activities are provided to accompany the interactive feature on understanding sacred texts.
