Clean Sweep is a site for kids, sponsored by the Keep America Beautiful organization. At this site, kids can visit six different sections, each of which addresses a major environmental topic related to waste disposal. The main function of each section is to provide information about a waste management topic on a kid-friendly level. This information is accompanied by pictures and sometimes video clips. Also, within each section, there are games, quizzes, links to further information, and glossaries of important terms.The site contains an Educators section as well, where teachers can download lesson plans for web-directed research and in-class activities. The plans have been created according to a set of environmental standards of learning.
