The site houses more than 2300 letters written by Mark Twain, and is continually updated. . A Biographies section contains short descriptions of the people referenced in Twain’s works and books. searching, browsing, and viewing options is exxplained in the user’s guide. There is also a feature that enables a user to collect and store digital citations, links to documents, images, and other resources.
The goals of this project are to produce a digital critical edition, fully annotated, of everything Mark Twain wrote. MTPO is a collaboration between the Mark Twain Papers and Project of The Bancroft Library, the California Digital Library, and the University of California Press.
