Teachers who want to incorporate visuals into their earth science courses can find such resources at this site. Created by staff members at the Department of Earth Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara, the site contains animations and visualization tools that can be used in the classroom to demonstrate various processes. These resources can be found in the Downloads section, and include global tectonics, regional plate tectonic and global histories,geologic histories and transverse ranges region, origin of Santa Barbara oil,Ice Age earth, Craters of the Moon national monument,and pore fluid and plate tectonics. Some of these animations include the deglaciation of North America, the South Atlantic spreading, and the Himalayan collision.
