The Periodic Table of Videos
http://www.periodicvideos.com/index.htm
The Periodic Table of Elements has been around since the 19th century. It has never been as entertaining as the scientists of the University of Nottingham have made it. Professor Martyn Poliakoff and his team of chemistry fellows, lecturers, and researchers have used YouTube to bring information about the elements that make up our world to visitors to their website.
Click on an element in the periodic table and there will be a video as well as the element name, its symbol, and atomic number. Each video runs between one and four minutes. Some videos include experiments done with the element. Most videos give information about how the element is used.
Schools that block YouTube videos may go to the sister website to watch the videos http://www.periodicvideos.com/nyt/index.htm.
