A lesson plan for grades K–1 Social Studies
In this EconEdLink lesson, students are introduced to the concept of scarcity by illustrating how time is finite and how life involves a series of choices. Students also learn that when you give up something to choose something else, this cost is called oppportunity cost. This lesson incorporates an interactive student activity and links to a variety of web resources.
