A lesson plan for grades K–2 Mathematics
This Illuminations lesson is the first of four related lessons grouped under the title “Application - Using Math in Everyday Life.” In this lesson, students work with data to complete an organized chart for the purpose of transferring information to a graph or for the purpose of generalizing a rule.
This resource is referenced in the Illuminations unit titled “Application - Using Math in Everyday Life” and is related to the Illuminations lessons titled “Baby Weight,” “High Temperature,” “Skin Weight,” and “Whale Weight.”
