A lesson plan for grades 6–8 Mathematics
In this lesson, the first of a three-part series from Illuminations titled “Spatial Reasoning Using Cubes and Isometric Drawings Part Three: Other 2D Representations—Front-Right-Top,” students explore polyhedra using different representations and perspectives for three dimensional block figures. Using interactive Java applets, students compare isometric drawings with another type of representation, called a front-right-top view.
