A lesson plan for grades K–2 Visual Arts Education and Science
In this lesson, from the ARTSEDGE curriculum unit “Scientific Impressions,” van Gogh’s depiction of sunflowers is used as a means of focusing on the parts of a flower, growing sunflowers in the classroom, and developing students’ artistic impressions of sunflowers.
