http://www.readwritethink.org/lessons/lesson_view.asp?id=160
A lesson plan for grades K–2 English Language Arts
This lesson from ReadWriteThink has students create a personalized biography for their reading buddy, and each child is the author, illustrator, and editor. Book Buddies is a program which pairs up a child from a primary class and a child from an intermediate class. Students create personalized biographies by interviewing each other, recording responses, putting the information into book format, and illustrating their books. This lesson incorporates student handouts and links to a variety of web resources.
