A lesson plan for grades 6–7 Science and Social Studies
It’s important for geography students to learn about the Earth’s natural resources and the ways that people use these resources. It’s also important for students to recognize that there are always environmental and human impacts related to the resource extraction process. In this lesson, provided by National Geographic, students will learn about the activities involved in producing their own belongings, and gain an understanding of and appreciation for the Earth’s natural resources.
