A lesson plan for grade 9 Social Studies
In this lesson, students will analyze the geographical components of several topics and determine how geography can be used for a variety of purposes. Students will read the U.S. National Geography Standards to use as a reference point for determining the types of concepts that are considered geographical and will design magazines or websites to help people understand the geographical components of an environmental problem. This lesson is located on National Geographic’s Xpeditions website.
