A lesson plan for grades K–2 Information Skills
This lesson is designed to begin to enable students to construct understanding of the consumption of energy by themselves as consumers. In this lesson, students will probe the problem of what happens to a battery-operated flashlight when it is not turned off. Students will extend this context to household items like lights, radios, televisions, and computers.
