Research building blocks: "Organize This!"

A lesson plan for grades 3–5 English Language Arts
Children are naturally curious-they want to know “how” and “why.” Teaching research skills can help students find answers for themselves. “Organize This!&rdquo’ is taken from a ReadWriteThink research skills unit where the students complete a written report on a state symbol. Here, students will organize the information they have compiled through the research process. Throughout this unit, students will not only learn the research process, but they will experience it first hand.
