A lesson plan for grades 3–5 English Language Arts
This ReadWriteThink lesson provides a way for teachers to help students learn and develop understandings of new word patterns. Students work with their spelling words in a variety of ways, using words in context, sorting them into categories, editing texts, and more. They have opportunities to work individually, with partners, and in small groups as they learn their new words.
