A lesson plan for grades K–4 English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Theater Arts Education
In this ARTSEDGE lesson, students read Janet Stevens and Susan Stevens Crummel’s book Cook-A-Doodle-Doo! They engage in dramatization and a variety of measuring activities that include estimation, equivalents, and elapsed time. Students work collaboratively to conduct measuring “experiments,” record their findings, and present their findings in final reports.
