A lesson plan for grade 6 Science
This Science NetLinks lesson is part of a three-lesson series on light. This lesson focuses on the idea that we can see objects because they either emit or reflect light. It discusses the way light is reflected, absorbed, and scattered to allow certain wavelengths to reach the eye, leading to a perception of different colors. It is an introductory exploration and would be best if complemented with hands-on activities.
